This is something which he did in his last blockbuster film Dangal too. Mystery Superstar spins around a young lady (Zaira Wasim) and her fantasy to end up noticeably an artist.
Discussing the closeness between the two movies, maker Aamir said in an announcement, "This film and Dangal, both depend on a similar theme – which is changing the disposition towards young ladies.
